1. Identification and Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the restaurant service and the website of the brand Luaboa, operated by the company Quitonga & Júlio Lda, VAT (NIF) 517441586, with registered offices at Rua Sá de Miranda, 84, Vale de Milhaços, 2855-482 Corroios. The restaurant service is physically provided at Rua José Martins Vieira 2, 2805-177 Almada.
2. Reservation System (Multichannel)
Luaboa accepts reservation requests through:
- Official website (via integrated booking widgets);
- WhatsApp Business;
- Phone calls and Google Business Chat;
- Direct Messages (DM) on social media (Instagram and Facebook).
Security Note: any reservation request is only considered confirmed after an explicit response and validation from our team. Sending a request does not guarantee an immediate booking.
3. Grace Period and Late Arrival Policy (No-Show)
To ensure the flow of service and respect for other guests:
- Luaboa guarantees table availability for a 15-minute grace period after the scheduled time.
- After this 15-minute period, the reservation will be automatically considered a “No-Show”.
- In the event of a No-Show, Luaboa reserves the right to release the table to other guests without prior notice.
4. Group Bookings (More Than 10 People)
Due to the specific logistics of our kitchen and dining room:
- Reservations for groups exceeding 10 people are not confirmed automatically; they require direct contact and manual validation.
- For these groups, Luaboa reserves the right to require the pre-selection of a Group Menu or the payment of a reservation deposit, which will be deducted from the final bill.
- Changes to the number of guests for these groups must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
5. Allergies and Dietary Restrictions
It is the customer’s duty to inform the staff of any allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions before placing an order. Luaboa is not responsible for incidents if this information is not properly communicated at the time of service.
6. Prices, VAT and Payments
- All prices presented in our menus and communications include VAT at the current legal rate.
- We reserve the right to update prices without prior notice, always guaranteeing the menu price in effect at the time of service.
7. Dispute Resolution (Mandatory by Law)
In the event of a dispute, the consumer may contact the Lisbon Consumer Dispute Arbitration Center (CACCL):
